Last week we purged Reesi room of all toys and stuffed animals that weren't being played with consistently. We ended up with two bags full of stuffed animals. I was so impressed that Reesi so easily packed them away. Sophie, my parents' golden retriever, loves stuffed animals. She plays with them and eventually tears them to pieces. So my mom took all the stuffed animals to have for Sophie. Great plan, huh. It was until Reesi came to town and saw Sophie throwing one of her cats around in the air. The crying began. "I just wanted to give them to someone who will love them and take care of them," she cried. She was very upset. We rescued the cat and switched it out with another stuffed animal. Mimi washed the cat and even sewed a button on the missing eye. Now we are looking for someone who wants to give a good home to a sweet white cat with a button for an eye. Any takers?
