The Freezer!

So my phone would not work after the lemonade incident. My mom had heard that if your phone gets wet and won't work put the battery in the freezer. I did this and everyone's dismay when I reattached the battery and it worked! Unfortunetly, within 48 hours I lost my phone. I am without a phone again! Ahhhhhhh!

Circus Time!

While I am not a huge fan of the circus, I suffered through it because Reesi loves them and the tickets were free(thanks Carmen). Another perk we got to hang out with our friends from White House that we don't see enough of. When I told Reesi we were going with Lofton, Ella, and Jude she went crazy. Somehow the dads got to watch the game somewhere leaving us to be harassed by the clowns! This one clown was a little too friendly and I was feeling very uncomfortable!

At intermission Reesi, having the support of her friend Ella, rode the ponies. Since she was a little wobbly on the saddle, I got to walk around with her dodging the poop that was flying everywhere. She even got her picture made with the clowns. However, she did not enjoy it and I believe she only did it so that she could get the candy that I bribed her with. Although we left at intermission the fun-filled two hours was plenty for us.

lBusy Day!

We have had such a busy weekend! This weekend MeeMaw was selling her pain cream at the flea market in Bell Buckle. Since Leslie, Parker, and Austin were in town we all decided to go. Larry was generous enough to man the pain cream booth so the rest of us could shop. However, MeeMaw would say that he didn't man it to well because there were few sells made while we were gone. While there was tons of stuff there, we really didn't end up doing too much shopping. We did enjoy the hayride and all the unhealthy food!

I forgot about this and I must get it off my chest!

It would have been the perfect Saturday morning if it had not of been for the phone mishap. After hitting some yard sales before the game, Reesi and I showed up at Dugan Field ready for some baseball. As I was grabbing my purse from the passengar seat my cell phone slipped out of my purse. This would not have been a big deal if it had not have been for those kids selling lemonade at the yard sale. Of course, Reesi had to have some and of course it was sitting in the cupholders in my console and of course when my phone fell it fell straight into the cup of lemonade. This being said, if you try to call me, you probably won't get me. I had this phone for the record time of four and a half months. With my record on phones I still don't know why I just don't pay the $6 a month for the insurance. (Anyone with an old verizon phone let me know!)

My Daddy is a ----!

"My daddy is a ----" is what the T-Shirt said. I thought it should have said my daddy was a Bison, but apparently daddy's still got it. Today at the Alumni Bison baseball Larry started out slow getting out at first on his first time at bat. It didn't matter to Reesi because on his way back to the dugout she was yelling, "You winned Daddy, you winned!" She was busy jumping on the bouncy slide for his second at bat where he found some green in right field and got on base. It was fun watching Larry playing again and it is definitely more interesting than watching him coach. Reesi loved going onto the field after the game and practicing her pitching. There were a lot of wild pitches, but not much more than Larry. As his dad kept saying, "He's a little rusty!" It was a great morning and it wore her out enough so that she took a nap! Thanks -----

Dinner at Loveless

This Thursday we went to dinner at Loveless Cafe with Karen and Van and Van's side of the family. It was such a beautiful night we even got to sit outside on the deck, which I still can't believe how warm it is. We had the best waiter ever. He was so entertaining and he kept Reesi busy by making a crab out of a napkin with her face drawn on it and lemon. They also have pumpkins everywhere and Reesi spent thrity minutes playing on the pumkins with Andy Ro (her kitty). We had a great time. Thanks for the meal Karen and Van.

Gentry's Farm

Due to my past experiences as a kindergarten teacher I have become quite the critic when it comes to pumpkin patches. Therefore, one of the perks of moving back to Nashville is being closer to Gentry's Farm, which is personally my favorite pumpkin patch. I am a little behind with my blogging and our visit to the patch was actually at the end of September. Mimi, Papoo, Reesi, Grace, Lyla and myself spent one hot Saturday morning there. While the girls had a blast, my dad walked around with us brainstorming about how he could turn his farm in Indiana into a pumpkin patch. Since the pumpkin patch phenomenon hasn't made its way to Indiana I think it would be a great idea, but a lot of money to reach the caliber of Gentry's Farm. There were too many pictures to post, but here are a few.
