It's Baseball Season!

We hit our first baseball game of the season today. The wind was a little chilly, but the girls and Annie had a good time. As usual, I saw only a little bit of the game. One day I'll get to actually watch the whole thing!

Weekend

Jeff, Lesli, and the boys came to town last weekend. Meemaw took the kids Saturday night so we could have an adult night out! Thanks Meemaw! On Sunday we had lunch with Poppy, visited all the grandparents, and then ended with lasagna birthday celebration at MeeMaws. We enjoyed our busy weekend!

Valentine's Day

Reesi loves making Valentines! It is right up her alley!

Annie

About three weeks ago we finally picked up our dog. Reesi had been drawing pictures of Annie everyday and made her own count down calendar. Reesi and I drove all the way to Memphis to pick her up. She was the sweetest thing. We would put her down to pee and she would just roll over for us to pet her belly. Annie has definitely perked up since we got her and is in full fledge puppy mode. This includes attacking your pant legs, attacking princess dresses, peeing on the floor, pooping on the floor, crying in the middle of the night, etc. She's just like a baby. It's a good thing she is cute! She still has the sweetest personality and is so fuzzy and hairy. Reesi, of course, loves her.
Reesi taking her out on a cold, cold night.
Going to pick Reesi up at school.

Day 1

Off to the Dentist

Elye loves going to the doctor. The last time I took Reesi to the doctor, the doctor also had to check Elye. So she was excited for her dental visit. She went right back there and climbed up in the chair. I could have stayed in the waiting room and she wouldn't have cared. They put on her shades and she let them do the whole shebang. She loved her teeth and tattoos she got out of the treasure box. The best part: no cavities for everyone!

Reesi also went, but I forgot to get her picture. But here's a picture of my sweet girl sleeping. I love taking pictures of them sleeping.

We are Born Free

When we took Elye off the bottle we just replaced one addiction with another. She just switched her addiction from the Born Free bottle to the Born Free sippy. She loved it, but she drank a lot of milk, especially on her bad days. It was like her paci. If things weren't going her way, if she was tired, or if she was hungry she wanted milk. So I had enough one day when she refused to eat breakfast and only wanted milk. I hid all her sippys and refused. There were several fits. I cheered her up by telling her we would go to the mall, make a Build-a-Bear, and put her sippy in the bear. She loved it. She loved that rabbit! Until about 2 hours later when she wanted to rip its head off and get her sippy. She was literally screaming, "Cut its head off." We didn't cut its head off and Elye is now drinking her milk out of a Nuby. It has definitely helped. Every once in a while she will have her bad days(or I will have my bad day and give in) and drink a lot of milk. Most days she is down to three cups a day. I'll take it.
