Larry and the girls were telling silly stories yesterday at Jenny's house and Elye had to have a turn, of course.

Random Phone Pictures

This was Reesi when she was three.
This was Elye's crazy hair after a nice long nap.

She's seven now and still loves her stuffed animals!

Happy Mother's Day

Reesi wanted to make my Mother's Day special. So in addition to the plant and special card she made at school she came up with a surprise on her own. While I did my grocery shopping trip sans kids (a special present of its own!) she worked hard at my surprise. When I came home I followed the arrows and "red carpet," aka every blanket, sheet, table cloth she could find, up the stairs and what did I find? A clean room! Reesi cleaned her room for Mother's Day!

Happy Birthday E!

Little E! Your getting so big!
Elye is two and we kept her birthday celebration low key. We did have cake and a big present. She is still loving her roller coaster, but I realized I have to move it around in the yard every few days so we don't end up with tracks.
So little E, this is what you are like at 2 years old.
-you love to pretend. You pretend with your kitchen and dolls. You also will put on your little backpack and walk out the back door into the yard saying, "bye-bye," telling us your going to school.
-you say the funniest things. The other night we were coming home late and I asked you if you were sleeping in the back seat. You said, "No, I picka nose. It's yucky. Booger yucky."
-have to climb into the car and your car seat all by yourself. We can't be in a hurry, ever.
-still love your soy milk.
-can count to 11
-tell me you want to go pee-pee on the potty, but all you do is sit there and smile.
-love icicles (Popsicles)
-will now smile for pictures and videos, but then immediately must see it.
-are singing songs. Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Me, and Jesus Loves Me are your favorite.
-love the days that your Mimi watches you. When I come home your afraid I'm going to take you away from her and you always tell me, "Go." You also still call her Juju instead of Mimi like everybody else.
-At your two year visit you were the sweetest thing. You just stood there while Dr. Pinkley checked you all over. He was very impressed and said you acted like a 3 year old. While he was entering in all the info on the computer you would walk over slowly, smile at him, and pat him on the arm. Here are your stats:
- Weight - 23 lb, 8 oz - 10-15th percentile
-Height - 33.75 in - almost 50th percentile
-Head Circumference -45.5 cm - almost 25 percentile
