We always love our church's VBS and this year was no exception. It is quite a production. I think this year there were almost 400 kids in attendance and just as many adults volunteering to make it work. It is quite an event. This year's theme was Transformation, the story of Saul to Paul. It is four nights from 7:00-9:00 so those were some late nights getting the girls to bed, but it was worth it. On the last night they passed out caterpillars to complete the transformation theme. Unfortunately, we didn't get to watch the full transformation since we left for vacation the following weekend. We passed them onto Jenny for safekeeping.
Elye loved her caterpillar that night, but by the next day she had lost interest. Reesi, of course, didn't lose interest. She named them all and was very concerned about leaving them while on vacation.
She did not want her picture taken!
I brought Elye up one night(she has to stay in her classroom for the whole night) for the big opening in the auditorium. She sat with Grace the whole time and loved it.
