Pounding the Pavement

Saturday was our neighborhood's spring yard sale and Reesi and I were pumped. I think I have instilled my love for yard sales in her. We headed out early that morning thanks to Elye's 6:30 wake up call. It was a little rainy so we started out in the car. At around 8:30 we stopped by Grace and Lyla's for them to join us and luckily the rain had stopped and we hit the pavement. Each girl had around $5 to spend. Reesi ended up with a free baby doll, a 50 cent gold shell to hang on the wall (originally $1), four tiny juice glasses for $2, a $2 Barbie (originally $3), and $1 Beanie Baby frog. My best deals of the day were for Elye. A $20 cozy coupe: not quite the best deal of the day since new they are only $40 at Wal-mart, but at least I don't have to put it together! A $10 Laugh and Learn House: This one retails for $80 and she loves it!

No time for fixing hair. We've got deals to find!
Elye and her new house that she loves!

You are hilarious! Clearly, had some negotiating skills to get those prices down from the original asking price:) That is a great deal on the house, though.

Yes, I would have paid twice as much for the Cozy Coupe to NOT have to put it together! Good deals!
