We all know Reesi is an animal lover. While we were in Missouri she ran to me crying and yelling, "I am the worst animal girl ever! I just killed a bird!" I went to investigate and found out that she had found a small blue egg sitting in the water in an old bird bath. Reesi tried to rescue the egg and get it out of the water, but when she did it broke. It also broke her heart. I never could convince her that the bird wasn't going to hatch anyway sitting in water and it was probably already dead. She was pretty hard on herself and took a while for her to get over it. What a sweet heart!
