A little nervous at first
The pledge

It is official; Reesi is no longer a preschooler.
This past Thursday Reesi had her preschool graduation. It was adorable and Reesi was the sweetest. Towards the end of the program each child had to go up to the microphone and tell everyone what they want to be when they grow up. Reesi quickly stated: veterinarian.
It really hasn't sunk in yet that Reesi is done with preschool. It's either that or I am blocking it out of my mind until I have to face the facts come August. Every day something comes out of her mouth that makes me realize that she is really a five year old. Like today when I wouldn't let her wear my three inch heels to Wal-Mart she told me that she wouldn't let me be part of her Pink Panther Club. Later on the way to Wal-Mart out of the blue she said, "Mom, I have to apologize," and she continued to tell me how she was sorry for saying that. It was such a grown-up moment!
I always tell Reesi that she is growing up too fast, but she insists that it is slow. She also assures me that when she does grow up she will be my neighbor. She'll live in the house to the right. Wouldn't that be nice!
