Reesi has had big plans for Mother's Day for a while. Below is the list of things she wanted to get me.
a butterfly fountain
jeans that she could glue jewels on
a bouquet of flowers
So Larry took her shopping this morning. She didn't get anything from her list, but she did find some things that satisfied her. Reesi also takes after her father in the fact that she cannot wait to give presents. She and her father both have to give the present as soon as they get them. Reesi surprised me with a very ornate ring and some earrings and Larry threw in a massage. Larry said he tried to guide her in picking out something for me, but she wouldn't listen. She had to pick them out all on her own.
She is so sweet and she has been showing that everyday with Elye. The other day I was trying to get Reesi lunch ready before I sat down to feed Elye. Elye started crying and Reesi exclaims, " Elye is more important than me Mommy. Feed her first!" There has only been one sign of jealousy. Reesi came in one morning and I was laying there with Elye next to me. Reesi said, "Hey, that's my spot," and made me move Elye so she could lay down. I am so blessed to have such a sweet little girl and I can't wait to watch Elye follow in her footsteps.

Hey! Amy and I got a gift certificate to the same place for massages. Phillip told me I am to go with Amy for a massage and to make a day of it- dinner, movie, shopping. I know you can't be away from Elye that long, but if at all possible, we should make a part of a day of it with you. Happy Mother's Day.
I expect to see that ring on your hand every day. So sweet and soooo Reesi.
That is so cute! Happy Mother's Day...and we could all go together :)!
