Six Weeks

Little Elye Kate is changing every day. We are currently fighting a diaper rash, but the $50 diaper cream is working right now so we are crossing our fingers that it will clear the last little bit of the rash up. The doctor's visit meant that we did get to weigh her. Every time I am out with her strangers always stop us to look at the little baby. They always ask one of two questions: How old is she and how much does she weigh? Well, now I know how much she weighs: 8 lbs. 5 oz.
Elye Kate has also woken up! She is fighting the sleep. This means we have spent some time swinging on the front porch, walking the halls and sidewalks, got out money's worth out of the Moby wrap. She loves to be held while she sleeps. This may be my last baby so I'm going to enjoy holding the sweet sleeping baby. Current sleep schedule at night: eat at 9:00, 2:00, 5:00. Hopefully, the more pounds she puts on the better the night will get.
