Is Golf Always This Frustrating?

Tips from the dad

Loving golf at this point

Actually letting Daddy help again

Starting to get frustrated

Really frustrated and crying, "It's not fair."

Done with golf for the night

Cleaning the clubs

When it comes to giving into Reesi I am the worst. When Larry is with us we buy very few things for Reesi. The line he uses is "She doesn't need that" and it is usually true. Tonight, however, we just stopped by the sports store to look at some golf clubs. Reesi fell in love with an adorable set. Larry told her that we would come back and get them in a few weeks when we had time to go golfing. Reesi put on her pout and cried, "But I promise to clean them." I watched in awe as Larry gave in and we walked out with a new set of clubs for Reesi.

Reesi was so excited to try them out right away. It started out with smiles, but golf has proven once again to be a frustrating game. The smiles turned to tears and she was ready to go inside to clean her clubs. Not only do we need to work on her swing, but also on her patience for the game.

I love it! Getting frustrated is a standard reaction to golf. Keep practicing Reesi and keep those clubs clean - very important!

She seems to take after my brother; I have seen him throw a club or two, and he is 28!
