Easter

She had been coveting this bunny from the toy store for weeks.
Handy Dandy Poo-porri for Reesi.  You spray it in the toilet before doing your business and it masks the smell.

Birthday with the Grandparents

We celebrated at Meemaws.

 Flashing her money from Granny
She Loved her American Girl Doll from Meemaw and Terri.
 Egg Hunt

Her actual birthday morning we celebrated with candles in a waffle for breakfast.
We celebrated with Poppy and Cat at Las Palmas.

Ignore Reesi's crazy hair.  She had her hair braided all crazy so she could sleep in it and have waves the next morning.  She tried to cover it up with a baseball cap!

Happy Fifth Birthday Elye!

I cannot believe my baby is five, but she is.  We moved into our house on a Friday and had her birthday party on Saturday.  Since we definitely weren't ready to celebrate at our house, we had it at her gymnastics place.  She had a blast bouncing around with all her friends and cousins.  Her favorite part was being the center of attention!

Wicked!

One of Reesi's highlights from the spring was a special Sunday performance of Wicked.  We met all her friends and their moms for lunch at Demo's and then were off for a matinee performance of Wicked.  I had never seen it and loved it.  Reesi loved it too, but might have had more fun goofing around with her friends before the show!

Super Girl

Elye had Super Hero day at school while we were in house limbo.  Since we sold our house, but couldn't close on the house we were buying we had most of our things packed up while we lived at our parents houses.  All of Elye's super hero clothes were all packed away.  Our sweetest, most awesome realtor, Connie Nichols, got Elye the cutest super girl outfit just for her special day at school.  Elye was, of course, thrilled!

The Hermitage

One of Reesi's field trips this year was at The Hermitage, Andrew Jackson's home.  Luckily, I wasn't working that day so Elye and I went to check it out. Of course, she did her speech beautifully.  She is now old enough that she isn't too worried whether I am there for the field trip or not.  Elye was dying to take the horse ride so after spending a little time with Reesi we went on a carriage ride and learned all about his farm.  It is beautiful there!

We Moved!

On a whim in November, we decided to sell our house and move.  We finally got our house ready for the market in January and got a contract the first day.  Turns out finding a new house was the hard part.  Our amazing realtor, Connie Nichols, worked her magic and we ended up getting a house we had gone back and forth with the buyer for over a month.

We packed up the whole upstairs and made a make shift bedroom for the last week in our old home.  The girls loved it!
