Yard Sale!!

I love yard sales! I love going to them (but never do now that I have kids) and having them. Our neighborhood has two a year so I joined in this year. Reesi plans on owning a mall full of stores when she grows up so this was right up her alley. She began pulling things out of the garage and marking them weeks before. She has no clue what things are worth so her prices were a little off. She marked our baby sign from Baptist Hospital (don't ask me why we still have that in our garage) for $40. She also set up a bake sale with her cousin.

The highlight of the bake sale was when a heavy set women pulled right up the the table, climbed out of the car, and said, "The fat lady's here." She then proceeded to buy $10 worth of 50 cent cupcakes, drinks, and candy. Jackpot!!

We sold Reesi's Barbie Dreamhouse and our little red wagon, which made me sad, but we never use them. I ended up making almost three hundred dollars! Unfortunately, my Patagonia jacket ended up in the Goodwill pile somehow and now I'm short a winter coat! That hurt my profits a little. I guess someone got a killer deal at Goodwill and is now wearing my favorite jacket!
