Last Sunday was our church's Dinner at Bethlehem. The children had practiced their program for months, dinner had been cooked for over 600 people, and plans had been made to bus in over 50 inner city children to enjoy the night. The weather had a different plan. We still went. The kids still did their program and we still ate, but only 3 inner city kids showed up and the crafts and live animals were canceled. It was such a bummer. But we had fun anyway and brought our sled. Reesi had to go down the hill a church a few times before we left. We ended the night snuggled up at home watching a Christmas movie and eating a whole container of blueberries. Even though snow ruins a lot of things, I can't help but love being snowed in.
