Our Slightly Smaller Tree

Papoo was thinking about having to tie this tree onto the roof of my car and he kept steering towards the smaller trees.

I had to get a picture of the grandma and her chain saw. I was so impressed!
Shaking the needles out. We could have skipped this part since it was going to be wind blown.
Bagging it.

After last year's exciting Christmas tree adventure, I couldn't wait for another one. Unfortunately, Larry didn't get to go up to Indiana for Thanksgiving due to basketball games. So the adventure was up to Reesi, Papoo, and I. I decided that this year I would let Reesi pick out any tree she wanted.
It was so hard for me to accept the seven and a half foot tree she picked out when I could see a beautiful ten foot tree in the distance just calling my name! But it was Reesi's turn to pick this year. I am just going to have to be okay with that, for this year at least.
It is a beautiful tree and even though it lost many needles on the commute from Indiana we just put that part of the tree facing the the back. Reesi loves it and that's all that matters!
