5 Year Well Visit

Last week Reesi had her five year well visit. All went well. She peed in a cup, did the hearing and vision screening, and did everything the doctor asked. She kept asking, "Do I have to get a shot?" I just kept telling her we will wait and see what the doctor says. So when the doctor was done and left I finally had to break down and tell her the truth as we waited for the nurse. She started crying immediately. Not only did she get a shot, but she got five shots and cried the whole time. After the nurse left she sat on my lap and not only cried, but screamed! I had to finally tell her that we cannot leave until she stopped screaming. She did stop screaming, but kept crying. As we were walking out she was sobbing, hyperventilating, and saying, "I, sob, never, sob, want, sob, to, sob, come, sob, here, sob, again!" We went straight to Target to distract her. Of course, she couldn't walk due to the pain in both legs. She had to be carried around the rest of the night. Miraculously, right before bed, she got her ability to walk back. This girl does not do pain well!

ah yes, the five year old shots...perhaps the WORST set ever! Ella cried saying "stop, please stop" after the first one. I am glad she can walk again!

She's tiny...my three and 1/2 year old weighs 40 lbs! Glad she lived through the shots! My oldest, Jordan didn't like them either and my youngest still has that to look forward to! Hope you're feeling good, I'm sure you're excited to meet your new daughter! Congrats and God bless!

Bless her heart!!! I feel her pain. I still can't take shots! I'd rather get the flu than the shot!
