This picture says it all. Grace is so excited and Reesi is so apprehensive.
Can you see the fear in her eyes?

Skipping and singing down the trail to get treats. I believe they were singing, Trick or treat, smell my feet . . .Saturday night Larry and I decided to take Reesi to Ghouls at Grassmere and since Grace had spent the day playing with Reesi she also came along. Reesi decided to wear a ballerina outfit from her dress up closet instead of her cat outfit and Grace pulled out a Tinkerbell dress from the closet. We had gone last year and had a great time, but we were shocked when we arrived and saw a line a mile long just to get tickets. I guess it was because it was the last night, but it was crazy. So after waiting 20 minutes in line for tickets we were finally ready to go into the zoo. We went trick or treating on the trail first and it was a little stressful trying to keep Reesi and Grace moving with the crowd. After trick or treating and getting some hot chocolate we decided to go to the big open area full of activities. There were much more activities than last year, but due to the LONG lines we just went on the Scary-Go-Round. Reesi is pretty much a scardy cat and when she saw the lights on the Scary-Go-Round going off and on and everyone screaming, she decided she did not want to go. We made her go anyway and by the end of the ride I was holding her while she was crying. The crowds definitely made the night not as enjoyable as last year so we have learned our lesson about going on the last night. But we made the best of it and still had a good time.
