I usually welcome snow, but I was not so excited about it this time. Not only was it wasted on a non-school night, but my sister and I had plans. I had convinced my sister to consign with me in a sale in Hendersonville. After much work had gone into preparing the clothes, we were looking forward to the pre-sale for consigners only on Friday night. With the weather forecast looming I had resigned to the fact that we would have to wait and shop with everyone else on Saturday, but my sister would not hear of it. So we jumped in her van and headed to Hendersonville at about 4:30 on Friday night. We entered the sale at 6:00 and did not emerge until 8:20. During our shopping excursion our phones continued to ring. Especially from our sister Julie, who is known to be a worrier. After Jenny informed her that we could take care of ourselves Julie realized that discounted Gymboree was worth more then our own lives. However, 2 hours after leaving the sale and after dodging several cars stuck or off the road, we safely pulled into Fieldstone Farms. Some of the deals that made it worth it: $4 Groovy Girls Pony, $5 scooter, and several adorable $8-10 dresses.

I can't believe you braved it; I am a Yankee and am used to snow, and I decided to stay home. Becky had a extra consignors pass, but I just decided to stay indoors; I hope to go tomorrow. I know that there will be tons left; I have never seen so much Gymboree. I wonder what that woman does to get so much?
